Memorials
The Eagle River Historical Society has contracted with MK Landscape Company to design and complete a Memorial Garden on the campus of the Historical Museum. In addition to making the grounds more attractive, the garden offers members, supporters and the community an opportunity to become a permanent part of the campus. Two sizes of pavers and bricks are available for purchase and create the patio areas as the garden progresses. Benches and other garden amenities are also available for dedication.
The garden is a unique opportunity for many people to become an actual part of the museum and the Society. Generations of summer families as well as long established residents feel they are a part of Eagle River history. Laying an engraved brick or paver in honor or memory of an individual, family, event or business is a wonderful way to establish your legacy.
To order your pavers, please download and complete the form and return to the Historical Society with your check for the full amount.
GARDEN BERM
In the summer of 2018 an earth berm was shaped along the southern edge of the museum grounds. Design and labor were gifts from Design/Build by Visner. It has been mulched and planted with trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials.
The original materials and plantings were a gift from the friends and family of Candis Croker McGinn. A memorial notice has been placed on the berm.

MARK YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY
The Eagle River Historical Society is offering an opportunity to become a permanent part of Eagle River history. The Memorial Garden patios, at our Historical Museum campus on Highway 45 South, are surfaced with laser engraved pavers commemorating families, events, businesses and individuals. Many have chosen to honor military service in this way.
Two sizes of pavers are available at $100 and $300, offering up to five lines of engraving. Email us or pick up a form at either of the Historical Society Museums to order.
A paver is the perfect gift on any occasion or to honor someone important in your life. The garden has been landscaped with trees, shrubs and flowering plants, creating a beautiful setting for your gift..
Remember the Eagle River Historical Society in your estate plan and create your legacy.
