How Wisconsin Became a Great Bike State

July 1, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Society partners with Great Headwaters Trails (GHT) to present “How Wisconsin Became a Great Bike State”. After an introduction to our state’s biking past, GHT will present our local trails – off road and family friendly – along with free trail maps and an overview of their features. Wisconsin combines a great biking history with a multitude of contemporary trails.

History in the Outdoors

This summer the Historical Society (ERHS) is moving the Summer Series outdoors – and the topics match the venue. Join the Society on the lawn of the Historical Museum for a series of five events that are not only held out of doors but feature activities and history in our Northwoods environment.

All programs are free to the public, although your donations are most welcome. Please bring a lawn chair if possible. There will be a limited number of folding chairs available also. Each presentation begins at 2:00 and will last about one hour. Rain days will be for the following day if weather permits. Otherwise there will be an announcement of rescheduling.

All programs are made possible by the support of the Kohler Foundation.
